Elan Béarnais Coupe de France round of 16 draw Strasbourg, Digi Mart USA News: With the eight Elite clubs that took part in the latest playoffs entering the competition, Elan Béarnais had a strong chance of facing a top opponent. That proved true, as the club was drawn against Strasbourg, currently seventh in Elite with four wins and three defeats.
The match was scheduled for Wednesday, December 2, but it is likely to be moved to a later date because the Rhénus, home of SIG, is unavailable that day. It will be a remake of the 2022 final, when Elan Béarnais beat Strasbourg 95-86 at Bercy.
This will be Elan’s third trip in the competition this week, after Tarbes (N1) and Antibes (Elite 2), which Elan won 93-86 at Antibes. The two teams will also meet in the league on Friday, November 13 at 8 p.m.
at the Palais des sports.
