Landskrona BoIS vs Ljungskile SK Superettan final round: BoIS visits Skarsjövallen on Saturday at 15:00 chasing a playoff place, while Ljungskile, a newly promoted side, sits safely on 31 points and is likely to secure top-flight football with a draw.

Landskrona BoIS vs Ljungskile SK Superettan final round, Digi Mart USA News (Skarsjövallen, Sweden): The final round of the Superettan season is set for Saturday, with Landskrona BoIS playing Ljungskile SK away at Skarsjövallen. All matches in the final round kick off at 15:00.

Fifth-placed BoIS holds a one-point lead over third-placed Varberg and fourth-placed Östersund. BoIS has the better goal difference, which could prove decisive.

Oddevold sits sixth, two points behind BoIS, and Uddevalla still has a chance at a playoff place. Östers IF also remains in contention, level on points with Oddevold but with a significantly worse goal difference than the four teams above.

Ljungskile, a newly promoted side, sits near the other end of the table. Going into the final round, LSK is on safe ground with 31 points, two more than Örebro in the negative qualification place.

Ljungskile also has the better goal difference, so a draw will likely be enough to secure a place in the top flight.

LSK also won one more match that was instead lost on paper. In the game against Sandviken, the club fielded a player who lacked eligibility, which led SIF to file a protest that was accepted by the disciplinary committee.

Ljungskile enters the match on two straight draws. The most recent was a 2-2 result away at Varberg, after the visitors had led twice.

Lukas Lindholm Corner has had a strong season, scoring six goals in 25 matches.

BoIS won its most recent match at home against Örebro SK, 2-1, with goals from Zakaria Loukili and Constantino Capotondi. That three-point result keeps Landskrona involved in the playoff race.

The club would have preferred to control its own destiny rather than rely on results in other matches, but it is comfortable with the situation and eager to continue the chase.

BoIS faces a difficult opponent and must be fully focused from the start. A large traveling contingent of BoIS supporters is expected to be present, and the club believes that energy from the away section will help the team.

BoIS will be without William Åkesson, who is injured, and Gustaf Bruzelius, who is suspended. All other players are available.

Squad: Amr Kaddoura, Marcus Pettersson, Gustaf Westström, Adam Egnell, Tobias Karlsson, Salomo Ojala, Allen Smajic, Edi Sylisufaj, Constantino Capotondi, Emmanuel Moungam, Kota Sakurai, Mathias Andreasen, Max´Med Mohamed, André Alvarez Perez, Kevin Jensen, Zakaria Loukili, Andreas Murbeck, Roni Arabaci, Maximilian Milosevic, Enes Hebibovic.

The club says it wants to end the season on a positive note and is focused on its own task. It praised Ljungskile as a very good side and said the squad has given its all throughout the season, deserving a chance to keep going.
