Missing 13-year-old girl from Marzahn, Berlin, Digi Mart USA News (Berlin, Germany): Berlin police resumed their search Saturday morning for a 13-year-old girl from the Marzahn district, according to the public prosecutor’s office. The search operation the previous evening had ended without result for the time being, police said, and dogs and a helicopter had been deployed.
The schoolgirl, identified as Lisa T. from Berlin-Marzahn, has been missing since Tuesday morning, investigators said.
She left her home on Golliner Straße around 7:15 a.m. to travel to her school on Sella-Hasse-Straße, but did not arrive there.
Police currently assume the girl did not leave her home environment voluntarily. Investigators do not rule out a crime, and a prosecutor’s spokesperson said there is an initial suspicion of a criminal offense.
He declined to provide further details. A homicide unit is also investigating.
Photos of the missing girl have been published on the police website. She is about 1.60 meters tall, slim, and has long dark hair.
On Tuesday morning she was wearing a black quilted jacket with a hood, blue jeans, white-beige shoes and a black backpack. Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact any police station.
