SR host David Druid, 42, has been absent from the radio since clips surfaced on social media showing him in a verbal attack against a woman. Last Sunday, SR announced that he would not host “Morgonpasset i P3” this week.
Druid himself commented on the incident. “Filming someone in the middle of a private argument can capture quite nasty statements.
But I am really not proud of some of what I say in the clips that have been published,” he told Aftonbladet through Sveriges Radio’s press service.
Now it is clear that he will also be absent next week. “We have published who is scheduled to host “Morgonpasset” next week, and David is not among them,” said Claes Bertilsson, press chief at SR, speaking to Aftonbladet.
He declined to say how long David Druid will be away.
According to the schedule, he will be replaced as before by Margret Atladottir and Branne Pavlovic, who will host together with Linnea Wikblad.
Druid was also scheduled to host Musikhjälpen in December, but has chosen to withdraw from that role.
