Wendy Holdener Mode Bayard advertising partnership, Digi Mart USA News: Mode Bayard announced on Thursday that it has entered into a collaboration with Swiss skier Wendy Holdener. The company did not disclose the duration or terms of the arrangement, and an agency involved in the project was not named.
CEO Silvia Bayard was quoted as saying that Holdener “performs the way she skis: self-assured, natural and with a clear line.” The statement emphasized the qualities the company associates with its new brand partner.
Holdener won Olympic gold in the team competition in 2018. She has been a three-time world champion, winning the combined title in 2017 and 2019 and the team title in 2019.
At the Winter Games in Cortina in February, she finished fourth in the slalom, narrowly missing a medal.
Holdener intends to continue competing at least until the home World Championships in 2027 in Crans-Montana.
Mode Bayard was founded in 1912 in the canton of Valais and is now headquartered in Bern. The company operates more than 60 stores at 37 locations across Switzerland.
Fredy Bayard, husband of the CEO, withdrew from the company and transferred it to its management through a management buyout, as he explained in 2022. He subsequently became involved in local media in Visp and Biel as a publisher.
