Hoy No Circula Friday November 6 2026 CDMX and Edomex, Digi Mart USA News (Mexico City and Mexico State, Mexico): The Hoy No Circula program for Friday, November 6, 2026 applies to vehicles with a blue sticker, plates ending in 9 and 0, and holograms 1 and 2, as well as vehicles with provisional permits. The restriction covers all 16 boroughs of Mexico City (CDMX) and 18 conurbated municipalities of the State of Mexico (Edomex).

Vehicles exempt from Hoy No Circula are those with holograms 00 and 0, as well as electric vehicles, hybrid vehicles and passenger transport vehicles, according to the Megalopolis Environmental Commission (CAMe). Vehicles registered in the State of Mexico, Hidalgo, Morelos, Puebla and Tlaxcala may circulate under the same restrictions as those in Mexico City, provided they have a valid verification in their state, thanks to the harmonization of vehicle verification criteria.

Drivers who violate the program on Friday, November 6, 2026 and are identified by authorities face a fine of 20 to 30 times the Unit of Measurement and Update (UMA), equivalent to between $2,346.80 and $3,519.30 pesos.

Authorities in Mexico City and the State of Mexico have recently said changes to the Hoy No Circula program will be made. However, the measure remains under review and no official modifications have been announced, so the program continues to operate normally.

For now, the only change reported is the expansion of the program to more municipalities in the State of Mexico, where it took effect a year ago.
