Cherubina expansion to France, Portugal and Mexico targeting five million euros in 2026, Digi Mart USA News (Seville, Spain): Seville-based fashion company Cherubina, which specializes in bridal wear and offers hats and headpieces, opened its first showroom in the Mexican market last year as part of its expansion strategy.
Cherubina has launched an international expansion plan with France, Portugal and Mexico among its main targets, with online sales as the primary channel. The company, which has recorded strong growth in bridal fashion sales over the past year, expects to reach five million euros in revenue by the end of 2026.
With a team of fifty people, the company entered the Mexican market last year with its first showroom, operated with a local partner. In Latin America, Cherubina operates points of sale in Chile and Peru through Falabella.
In Europe, the brand has focused on France and Portugal through e-commerce.
Cherubina has its own stores in Madrid, at 8 Calle Hermosilla and 8 Calle Núñez de Balboa, and in Seville, its hometown, at 7 Calle Muñoz Olivé, as well as at the Arte Sacro business park, where its atelier is located. In Valencia, Cherubina is present through Tousette, a women’s fashion store specializing in handmade headpieces and pamelas.
The company also has eight corners in El Corte Inglés stores located in Granada, Córdoba, Jerez, Seville, Zaragoza, Madrid, Valencia and Alicante, and plans to add new points of sale in the Spanish market as well as launch the brand in other regions, such as Galicia. Retail accounts for the bulk of the business, with about 45% of total sales, while the bridal category accounts for up to 25%.
Cherubina also operates through its e-commerce site, which accounts for 30% of sales and offers only accessories such as footwear, headpieces and homewear. The brand has also launched a separate website dedicated solely to bridal fashion, which functions as a showcase and does not offer online purchasing, driven by growth in its bridal section in recent months.
The company plans to expand its product range with handbags, shoes and even perfume, while also aiming to grow its guest-wear fashion business.
According to data provided by the company itself, Cherubina closed fiscal 2025 with revenue of 3.6 million euros and expects to reach five million euros in 2026.
Cherubina was founded in Seville in 2003 by Ana García Cherubina, who serves as designer. Pedro Parias joined the team as chief executive in 2013, and García and Parias are currently the partners and owners of the brand.
In early 2026, Cherubina signed an alliance with Mr. Velous, a women’s footwear company, creating a new joint venture, Mr.
Velous Shoes SL, to expand its growth in domestically manufactured footwear. Cherubina holds 70% of the new company, while Nacho Ruiz de Terry, former founder of Scotta and ex-Scalpers and head of Mr.
Velous, owns the remaining 30%.
