Proman Mexico fertilizer plant equipment removal Topolobampo, Digi Mart USA News (Topolobampo, Sinaloa): Proman Mexico has clarified that the removal of equipment from the dock and facilities of its Fertilizer Plant in Topolobampo is part of an administrative procedure, according to a publisher report published Wednesday.

The report said the company issued a statement 11 days before its temporary import permit expires. Proman Mexico said the equipment was approaching the six-month validity limit of its temporary import permit, prompting its supplier, FAGIOLI, to formally request the machinery be removed for customs procedures and returned to the United States before November 15, 2026, the permit’s deadline.

According to the company, temporary import permits are valid for six months, and the movement of machinery reflects compliance with those deadlines and applicable customs regulations. The clarification followed reports about the removal of equipment from both the dock and the plant, which raised questions about the reasons for the move and its possible implications for the industrial project at the Topolobampo port.

The company said the procedure addresses its commitments related to the temporary import of the equipment. However, its statement did not specify whether the machinery will later be re-imported into Mexico or whether the removal will affect the plant’s operating schedule.
