Six Nouvelle-Aquitaine Companies Share €1.2 Million in France 2030 Regional Funding

France 2030 regional innovation grants Nouvelle-Aquitaine: Six companies in the French region of Nouvelle-Aquitaine have received €1.2 million in public support from the state and the regional council for projects totaling about €3.5 million in investment. The projects span rocket propulsion, medical imaging, industrial safety, low-carbon construction, textile reuse and water management software.

France 2030 regional innovation grants Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Digi Mart USA News (Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France): Six companies from the French region of Nouvelle-Aquitaine have been selected by the state and the regional council under the regionalized portion of France 2030, according to a October 30 statement cited by Le Journal des Entreprises. The projects received €1.2 million in public support for approximately €3.5 million in investments.

The program is cofinanced, with the region adding one euro for every euro committed by the state to innovation projects. The state and the region had previously announced 17 winners on September 24 under this regional plan, which has a budget of €23 million for 2025 and 2026.

The selections came from three calls for projects open in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, titled “Innovation Projects,” “Sector Projects” and “Collaborative R&D Projects (regionalized i-Démo).” Bpifrance manages them on behalf of the state and the region.

Four of the six companies are based in the Gironde department, in Saucats, Bègles, Mérignac and Le Haillan. The other two are located in Coulombiers, in the Vienne department, and in Limoges, in the Haute-Vienne department.

HyPrSpace, based in Le Haillan and said to employ 150 people, designs rockets using a patented hybrid propulsion system and offers both suborbital and orbital launches. Its supported SHADow project focuses on a hybrid propulsion technology that draws its oxygen from the atmosphere.

According to the statement, this could make access to space simpler and could also replace propulsion systems used by civil or defense vehicles operating in the lower atmosphere.

The company’s 7,000-square-meter factory in Le Haillan was inaugurated on October 1. In November 2025, HyPrSpace closed a €21 million Series A round led by Red River West and the DeepTech 2030 fund, which is managed by Bpifrance on behalf of the state.

A puissance 3, a small company in Saucats, specializes in security, control and measurement for sensitive industrial environments. Its intelligent rail and connected sensors are intended to substantially reduce site cabling.

Combined with a dedicated digital tool, they are said to simplify maintenance, installation and configuration, according to the statement.

Soqut Imaging, a startup in Bègles, is developing a patented software that uses MRI to diagnose MASH, an obesity-related liver disease, earlier. The supported project will study whether the software can also be used in small animals during preclinical studies.

According to the statement, this could allow treatment efficacy to be assessed without sacrificing animals, addressing ethical and regulatory concerns.

Art de bâtir, a heritage masonry company based in Coulombiers, aims to industrialize a construction process using sprayed lime and hemp concrete applied in full mass, for both new construction and renovation. The process is intended to produce bio-based walls whose structure incorporates technical networks, which would simplify installation.

Pragma, a technology subsidiary of Easy Cash based in Mérignac, is developing a platform for textile reuse. It relies on predictive pricing, image recognition and artificial intelligence to process large volumes of unique items.

Aquassay, a Limoges company that helps industrial operators and local authorities use water more efficiently, is developing the e-WE link software. It collects and transmits water-use data from industrial sites and plans more advanced functions based on predictive and prescriptive models operating in real time.

The president of the regional council singled out HyPrSpace, Soqut Imaging and Art de bâtir for their technological breakthrough projects and also mentioned the construction sector. “So many fine innovations of general interest, which need public support to emerge before finding their market,” said Alain Rousset, president of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Regional Council.
