France Women’s Team Cuts One Friendly From November Schedule

France women's national team schedule change for November-December 2026 friendlies: the Bleues will play only two friendlies instead of three after the French Football Federation could not find a suitable opponent for a planned December 1 match, according to L'Équipe reporting on the publisher's coverage.

France women’s national team schedule change for November-December 2026 friendlies, Digi Mart USA News: France now knows its three opponents for the next edition of the Women’s Nations League. The draw placed England, Austria and Portugal in the group, which the Bleues will face between February and June 2027.

These matches will serve as preparation for the World Cup scheduled in Brazil next summer. Before that, the French women’s players have several friendly matches planned between late November and early December.

However, the French Football Federation (FFF) has made a major change in recent hours. After playing only one match in October, a 9-0 win over Latvia, the Bleues will now have just two matches in the coming weeks instead of the three originally planned, according to L’Équipe.

France will first host Venezuela on November 27 at the Stade Marcel-Picot in Nancy, then Morocco on December 5 at the Stade Auguste-Bonal in Sochaux. A third match was scheduled between the two, on December 1 away from home, but the FFF was unable to find an opponent.

The federation wanted a team of a higher level than Latvia, while some European teams are still involved in qualifying playoffs for the 2027 World Cup.
