Thierno Barry Everton goal tally, Digi Mart USA News: Everton fan James Costello says 20 goals is an achievable target for striker Thierno Barry this season. The forward has already matched last season’s goal tally of eight after just 12 games.
Speaking to BBC Radio Merseyside, Costello said Barry has been getting into better areas and has improved his technique. “He just needs to convert more of these chances,” he said.
Costello acknowledged a missed opportunity on Monday, joking that his grandmother would have scored. “But still, he’s getting in the right areas.
That’s what he lacked last season and what he has improved on magnificently this season. Long may it continue,” he said.
Costello added that 20 goals is realistic, especially with Everton now in the League Cup quarter-finals and still with the FA Cup to come. “We’re not even a third of the way through the Premier League season so 20 goals is definitely achievable,” he said.
