Carlos Novelo Flota Trucks México Series championship final, Digi Mart USA News (Mexico City, Mexico): The 2026 Trucks México Series season concludes this Sunday, November 8, at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City, where Yucatán driver Carlos Novelo Flota, a member of Escudería Telmex, will contest the final and most important race of the year.
Driving the Truck #18, Novelo arrives at the final in fourth position in the Chase after an intense and competitive season marked by strong performances, but also by circumstances that complicated his path toward the national championship.
Novelo has five podium finishes this season, including three victories at the races in Chiapas, Tulum and San Luis Potosí, along with a second-place finish in Puebla and a third-place finish in Querétaro. The 22-year-old driver has shown determination, speed and the ability to compete among the category’s best drivers.
The publisher notes that his approach, shared with Escudería Telmex, is to pursue victories rather than simply manage results. The next major goal is the NASCAR Challenge in 2027, a natural step in the driver’s sporting development.
Continuing this path with Escudería Telmex would allow the team to consolidate a project aiming for prominence at the highest levels of national motorsport.
Before looking toward 2027, one final race remains. The final will be run Sunday, November 8, at 12:45 p.m.
at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, scheduled for 75 laps.
Carlos Novelo and Escudería Telmex arrive in Mexico City determined to close the season fighting for the top spot, aware that races are decided on the track and not before the green flag.
