Stolen tractor-trailer recovered on Periférico Ecológico in Puebla, Digi Mart USA News (Coronango, Puebla, Mexico): Officers from the Coronango Municipal Traffic Department recovered a burgundy Volvo tractor-trailer that had been stolen moments earlier on the México-Puebla highway, near the auxiliary board of San Francisco Ocotlán.
The vehicle was found on the Periférico Ecológico after citizens reported the presence of a vehicle that appeared to be abandoned through emergency lines. Once alerted, agents located the unit and, after confirming its characteristics, secured it and transferred it to the Public Security Commissariat, where it was held in custody.
The owner later went to the facilities and proved legal possession of the tractor-trailer, so the corresponding procedures were carried out to return the unit to him in accordance with the law.
The Coronango Municipal Government said these actions are part of its surveillance work and attention to citizen reports, with the aim of protecting residents’ property and responding promptly to possible criminal incidents.
