Ozzfest Mexico 2027 concert date and presale, Digi Mart USA News (Mexico City, Mexico): The legendary heavy metal festival founded by Ozzy Osbourne is returning to stages and, for the first time in its history, will be held in Mexico. Ozzfest has confirmed its return for 2027 with a tour of just three dates, one of which is in Mexico City, the final stop on the run and the festival’s first edition in the country.
This will be the first Ozzfest since the death of Ozzy Osbourne in 2025, shortly after his historic farewell concert, “Back to the Beginning.” The festival returns after nine years of inactivity; its last edition took place on New Year’s Eve 2018 at The Forum in Los Angeles, headlined by the “Prince of Darkness” himself.
The Mexico City date is set for Saturday, September 18, 2027, at Estadio GNP Seguros. The local event is organized by OCESA, while the tour is promoted globally by Live Nation.
Mexico City will be the third and last stop of the festival’s return, which includes other dates, among them the United States. The tour will begin in the United Kingdom, considered the spiritual home of Ozzfest, and will pass through San Bernardino, the city where the festival was born in 1996, before closing in Mexico.
Tickets will go on sale in a special presale called “Early Bat,” starting Friday, November 6, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Central Time through Ticketmaster.
The presale will feature special prices for fans, but ticket prices have not yet been disclosed.
No lineup has been announced for any of the three editions. The lineup will be curated by Sharon Osbourne, who also leads the festival’s organization, and is expected to be announced in the coming months.
Ozzfest is a traveling hard rock and heavy metal festival founded in 1996 by Ozzy Osbourne and his wife, Sharon Osbourne. Over nearly three decades it became one of the genre’s most important platforms, for both metal legends and emerging bands, with editions held mainly in the United States and the United Kingdom.
The return coincides with the 30th anniversary of the festival’s first edition and is positioned as a tribute to the legacy of the former Black Sabbath vocalist.
