JBL PartyBox Ultimate 2 and JBL Pulse 6 speakers launch in Mexico, Digi Mart USA News (Mexico): JBL has brought two of its latest speakers to Mexico, the JBL PartyBox Ultimate 2 and the JBL Pulse 6. According to the company, the brand aims to make these speakers favorites for the final stretch of the year, offering one model designed for large parties and another built for the home.
The company says both products reflect different ways of gathering but share the same philosophy: music not only accompanies a celebration but also shapes how it is experienced. Both are already available in Mexico at official prices.
The JBL PartyBox Ultimate 2 is a full-size party speaker measuring 466.7 x 1,052.5 x 493.3 millimeters, so it is not especially easy to carry. To help with mobility, the brand has added wheels, and it offers IPX4 water resistance against splashes.
The speaker has an output of up to 1,500W RMS from JBL Legendary Sound, which the company says is 36% more power than the previous generation. Its redesigned acoustic architecture includes two professional-grade PEN tweeters with acoustic guides, two five-inch midrange drivers and two ten-inch woofers.
According to the brand, bass is felt strongly, vocals retain definition, and subtle details of familiar playlists gain new presence.
The model also incorporates artificial intelligence. One feature, AI Sound Boost, analyzes audio in real time to maintain dynamic sound with minimal distortion, even at maximum volume.
As with any product, the source notes that its performance in real environments will need to be tested.
Another AI-driven feature, EasySing AI Vocal Removal, lets users reduce the original lead vocals of a track to the level they choose, so karaoke is not limited to a closed catalog. Backing harmonies and choruses remain in place.
JBL says this function works with any streaming music service.
The PartyBox Ultimate 2 also includes a light show that combines dynamic waves, layered lighting for depth and movement, and a striking floor projection. A physical control panel and touchscreen on the top panel allow users to check the song playing, select the active light show and adjust key settings without interrupting the party.
For connectivity, the speaker supports Auracast for wirelessly linking multiple compatible JBL speakers, an optical input and XLR connectors for TVs or professional DJ equipment. It also offers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 6.0, AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Spotify Connect and lossless audio via USB-C.
The JBL Pulse 6 is a more compact alternative with a redesigned lamp-style form. It features 360-degree surround light show technology that synchronizes visual effects to the rhythm of the music, along with an expanded selection of dynamic party sequences and soft ambient patterns that spread across the speaker body and its integrated illuminated handle.
Using the JBL One app, users can choose among 16 lighting themes: six energetic options (Neon, Loop, Bounce, Trim, Switch and Freeze) and ten relaxed atmospheres (Universe, Firefly, Sea, Campfire, Aurora, Blossom, Cheers, Storm, Sky and Hover). The light can therefore also serve as a decorative element in a room.
The Pulse 6 is a portable speaker offering up to 12 hours of continuous playback and IP68 certification against water and dust. It also supports Auracast for linking with other compatible JBL speakers and synchronizing audio and lighting, Bluetooth 6.0, high-fidelity audio via USB-C, and karaoke sessions with the JBL EasySing Mic Mini microphone.
