Franco Colapinto Brazilian Grand Prix 2026 schedule: Argentine driver Franco Colapinto aims to recover from a costly Mexico penalty that dropped him to 15th and left him without points, as Formula 1 heads to São Paulo's Interlagos circuit this weekend.

Franco Colapinto Brazilian Grand Prix 2026 schedule, Digi Mart USA News: Argentine driver Franco Colapinto is looking to return to form at the Brazilian Grand Prix after a bittersweet result with his Alpine in Mexico, where an eighth-place finish on track was erased by a penalty that dropped him to 15th and left him without points.

Colapinto, who is from Pilar, is preparing for the 20th round of the championship, which gets underway this Friday at the Autódromo José Carlos Pace, formerly known as Interlagos, in São Paulo.

The track presents a special challenge for the Argentine driver, as it will be his third visit to the circuit, and his previous two visits did not end well. In 2024, while driving for Williams, he had to retire on lap 32 after a heavy crash in the rain.

On that occasion, he lost control of his car, spun, and hit the barriers, causing significant damage to the car. A year later, now racing for Alpine, he finished in 15th place.

All of the 20th round of the 2026 Formula 1 season can be followed on Fox Sports and Disney+ Premium.
