LOSC squad absences ahead of Bodø/Glimt Champions League match, Digi Mart USA News: LOSC travels to Norway on Tuesday at 9 p.m. to face Bodø/Glimt in the European league phase.
The club has lost its first three European matches and currently sits 35th in the league-phase standings.
Five players will miss the trip. Davide Ancelotti has officially ruled out Nabil Bentaleb, who stayed in the north of France as a precaution due to illness, and he is also doubtful for Sunday’s Ligue 1 match against Stade Rennais at 3 p.m.
The list of absences also includes Tiago Santos, who is injured and did not travel, and Hamza Igamane, who will not play because of an injury. Ayase Ueda is also injured and did not join the squad in Norway.
Ancelotti also made a tactical decision to leave Basar Önal out of the matchday group against Bodø/Glimt. The choice adds to the physical problems already affecting the Lille squad before this meeting.
Lille’s European record has been difficult, with three defeats in its three opening matches. After the game in Norway, the club returns to domestic action, facing Stade Rennais in Matchday 10 of Ligue 1.
Staff will then need to assess the health of the injured players for that fixture.
