JDA Dijon Coupe de France basketball draw, Digi Mart USA News: The draw for the Round of 16 of the Coupe de France, held Thursday, was relatively kind to JDA Dijon. After eliminating Limoges CSP 90-74, the Côte-d’Or side will travel north to face Avenir Basket Berck.
Berck, fifth in its Nationale 1 pool, is a 14-point favorite on the basis of a two-division gap. The match is scheduled for Wednesday, December 2 at 8 p.m.
in the Pas-de-Calais.
Berck’s previous round saw it defeat another Nationale 1 side, Besançon, 68-77. Coach Vincent Dumestre’s team will need to be wary of that opponent.
In the other ties, three meetings between Élite teams will be played. Cholet will host Paris Basket, Nanterre will travel to Bourg, and Strasbourg will host Pau/Lacq/Orthez.
