France creator economy market, Digi Mart USA News (Paris): Influencers who make audiences laugh, coach them or inspire millions of followers now carry significant weight in the national economy. According to a study by the research firm Coherent Market Insights, unveiled Wednesday, November 4, at the opening of Paris Creator Week, the French content creator market is expected to reach $10.1 billion in 2026 (nearly 9 billion euros), a 23.7% increase over one year.

That figure places France third in Europe and seventh worldwide, behind the United States ($69.8 billion), China, Canada, Germany, India and the United Kingdom. Globally, the creator economy is projected to reach $217.3 billion.

Growth in France between 2020 and 2025, at an annual rate of 11.8%, has nearly doubled, and the report projects a French market of $24.3 billion by 2030.

Behind these numbers are well-known names. Squeezie, a leading figure in French gaming content, is reported to be largely a millionaire, with estimated annual revenue of 3 to 4.5 million euros and a cumulative fortune in the tens of millions, drawn from his videos and events.

TiboInShape generates several million dollars a year through his fitness channel, subscriptions and the monetization of his ecosystem. Léna Situations reportedly exceeds 2 million dollars annually, supported by collaborations with luxury houses such as Dior and Valentino and her own brands.

The study’s scope includes all money paid for creator content: advertiser partnerships and advertising, subscriptions, donations, affiliate revenue and merchandising. Advertisers fund 77.3% of the French market.

Of every 100 dollars brands spend worldwide, 42 go to platforms, 36 to creators, 14 to technical tools and 8 to agencies. Including revenue received directly from audiences, French creators retain 45.4% of the value, slightly above the global average of 42.6%.

By content category, lifestyle leads with $3.6 billion, including $1.7 billion for beauty and fashion, followed by gaming at $2.2 billion. The value, however, is highly concentrated.

The report counts 465,000 active creators in France (those with more than 1,000 followers and regular publishing), of whom 330,000 earn income. Fewer than 6,000 of them, or 1.8% of monetized creators, earn more than $100,000 a year and capture 29.1% of total value produced.

Another point of concern is that value per active creator remains 14% below the average of the United States, United Kingdom and Germany ($21,694 versus $25,365). In employment terms, the sector represents the equivalent of 227,000 full-time jobs and $6 billion in direct value added, or 0.17% of French GDP.

The findings are based on a publisher article and have not been independently verified.
