Altrad end of France rugby jersey sponsorship, Digi Mart USA News (Hérault, France): The Hérault-based industrial group Altrad will no longer be the jersey sponsor of the French rugby team, the group and the French Rugby Federation (FFR) announced in two separate statements on Tuesday.
The sponsorship will end in mid-2027, after the next Six Nations Championship. The group said the decision “will mark the end of a beautiful story that began in March 2017 and ten years that have marked French rugby.” Altrad noted that it was the first jersey sponsor in the history of the French rugby team.
The contract was originally signed for six years and was extended by two and a half years in 2024. The partnership will now end at the close of June.
The FFR said Altrad’s new offer was not selected for the next jersey sponsorship contract for the national teams.
In a statement, the Federation said that ahead of the expiration of the partnership in late June 2027, it launched a selection process for its future partner starting with the 2027-2028 season. It informed the Altrad group that its offer had not been retained.
The FFR added that the selection process is ongoing, with several proposals still under consideration.
The FFR said it wished to thank the Altrad group, the first jersey partner in the history of the French national team since 2017.
