Laeticia and Joy Hallyday pay tribute to Johnny Hallyday in Saint-Barthélemy, Digi Mart USA News: Saint-Barthélemy remains a special place for Laeticia Hallyday and her daughters. Since Johnny Hallyday’s death on December 5, 2017, the Caribbean island has also been the resting place of the singer, at the Lorient seaside cemetery.
For All Saints’ Day, on November 1, Laeticia and her younger daughter Joy paid tribute to him. Both shared images on social media of the moment of reflection in front of the grave of the “Taulier,” covered with flowers and candles.
A few days earlier, on October 27, mother and daughter had already posted photographs taken at the singer’s burial site.
Jade, Laeticia’s eldest daughter, was not in those images. She is now spreading her wings.
At 22, Jade Hallyday is continuing her education on the other side of the Atlantic. Since the start of the 2023 academic year, she has been studying at the Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles, which offers undergraduate programs in fields including fashion design, illustration and visual arts.
The Bachelor of Fine Arts programs she is enrolled in span four years. Having started in 2023, Jade has now logically begun her final academic year.
In March, Paris Match featured her creations and her work in fashion, with her mother’s support.
In California, Jade can also count on the company of her partner, Aaron Thomas. In August, on the occasion of her 22nd birthday, he publicly described her as the “love of his life.” Jade has not turned her back on France, however.
She continues to travel there regularly, as her godfather, Jean Reno, recently confirmed.
In an interview with Le Parisien on October 21, the actor said: “I know she is in Paris at the moment. I don’t see her often, but we are in contact.” He added, “When Jade has a boyfriend, she tells me.”
Saint-Barthélemy also remains part of her life. Earlier this summer, Jade reunited with her mother and sister on the island, where she celebrated her 22nd birthday on August 3, surrounded by loved ones.
