Mexico Auditoria Superior de la Federacion complaint against Talleres Graficos de Mexico, Digi Mart USA News (Mexico City): Mexico’s Auditoria Superior de la Federacion (ASF) has filed a complaint with the Fiscalia General de la Republica (FGR), the Attorney General’s Office, against Talleres Graficos de Mexico (TGM) over 60 million pesos in irregularities.
According to a report by former lawmaker Maribel Aguilera Chairez, the ASF detected in June that 68 million pesos had been delivered to the company Conix Technologies in 2024 without a documented justification. The payment was made through a direct award.
Conix Technologies was supposed to supply encapsulated automotive and motorcycle chips, PVC cards with chips, and mobile technology readers. The company had no prior contracts with government entities but was hired on the grounds that the materials were strategic and confidential.
Although the company had been paid, the requested supplies reportedly remained in Conix Technologies’ warehouses on the instructions of TGM until December 2025. The contract ended earlier than planned without a stated reason, after 60 million pesos had already been delivered.
The remaining 8 million pesos have not been verified.
The auditor found that TGM provided no evidence supporting the calculations it used to determine that the 60 million pesos were owed to the company, resulting in a determination of damage to the public treasury.
Despite the irregularities, President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo said she will present a decree to strengthen Talleres Graficos de Mexico.
