CDMX 1,500 peso transport support registration for university students, Digi Mart USA News (Mexico City): Those who have not yet registered for the 1,500-peso bimonthly transport support offered by the government of Clara Brugada in Mexico City can still do so in November. The support is aimed at university students enrolled in a higher-education institution in the capital or in the Metropolitan Zone of the Valley of Mexico, in either the in-person or mixed modality.

The program prioritizes women and people living in areas with social lag, so that they do not have to interrupt their studies. The head of government of the capital also announced that the support will increase in 2027.

To register, applicants must provide three key documents: proof of enrollment for the current semester at a higher-education institution, a valid official photo ID such as an INE credential or passport, and proof of address in Mexico City dated within the last three months.

Applicants must also meet several requirements. They must live in Mexico City, with priority given to students from neighborhoods, barrios or towns with social lag, and they must study at a university in Mexico City or in the Metropolitan Zone of the Valley of Mexico in the in-person or mixed modality.

If the student is a minor at the time of registration, the official ID of a mother, father or guardian is required. Applicants will also be asked for their CURP and an active email account.

To register, students must create a Llave CDMX account at https://llave.cdmx.gob.mx/ and then complete the form on the government’s digital services website. Attached documents must be in PDF or JPG format, with each file not exceeding 2 MB.

Once the data is submitted, applicants receive a folio number, which must be saved because it is required to complete the registration.

The Secretariat of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation of Mexico City will publish the list of selected beneficiaries who will receive the support.
