Yahir and Tristán father-son relationship, Digi Mart USA News (Mexico): Singer and actor Yahir spoke about his current relationship with his two sons and acknowledged that, although he has been in contact with Tristán, he has not yet been able to reunite with him. He said he misses his firstborn and is eager to see him, remarks that come amid rumors of a new distance between the two, especially after Tristán’s participation in La Casa de los Famosos México.
In an interview with Ventaneando during the Mexico City Formula 1 Grand Prix, Yahir said he has spoken with Tristán but that they have not had the chance to see each other so far. “Tristán, I haven’t had much contact with him.
We’ve talked a lot, but we haven’t seen each other, and well, I’m dying to see him, of course.”
His remarks follow comments about Tristán’s absence from some family dynamics on La Casa de los Famosos México. While other participants received messages and visits from loved ones, the singer did not have an in-person meeting with his firstborn during the reality show.
His younger son, Ian, was able to visit him in the final days of the competition.
After leaving the program, Yahir returned to Hermosillo, where he received a recognition and spent time with his followers. Tristán, however, was not present, although his father said he had invited him.
At that time, the singer acknowledged that he had not been able to communicate with him again and that he had even left him waiting.
The relationship between the two has gone through difficult periods over several years, mainly due to the addiction problems Tristán has faced. Yahir has previously said he tried to help him through various treatments and rehabilitation centers, but some of those decisions led to differences between them and a distancing.
During an activity on La Casa de los Famosos México, the singer broke down while recalling his eldest son and publicly asked for forgiveness. He acknowledged that his attempts to find a solution to the problems they faced were not always successful and that there were moments when he was not at his son’s side as he would have wished.
Despite that history, Tristán has also publicly shown support for his father during the reality show. He even defended him against criticism from other participants, so his absence from family encounters does not necessarily mean a new rift between them.
Yahir also spoke about his relationship with his younger son, Ian, who lives with him and with whom he shares much of his daily life. The singer praised the younger boy’s qualities and said both sons are his main motivation.
“With Ian, yes, there is more contact. Logically, he lives with me, and I love seeing him, I love his creativity, I love how loving he is, I love so many things.
What can I tell you? Both of them are my reason, my motor, and everything I do is always dedicated to them.”
During the interview, the performer also spoke about his passion for motorsport and recalled that he has followed Formula 1 since childhood thanks to his family and friends. He said he has attended several Grand Prix events, including those in Indianapolis and Singapore, and that this was his fifth time enjoying the race in Mexico.
“I’ve lived Formula 1 since I was a kid, because my family is a Formula 1 fan. I have friends, close friends, who are big Formula 1 fans, and we have lived some really great Grand Prix events.
We were in Indianapolis watching Schumacher race, in Singapore too, and in Mexico we have.”
“I think this is my fifth time here, so I have lived it to the fullest on TV. I don’t miss it, and I am very happy to support Checo, of course.”
Finally, Yahir was asked about his health after revealing he is dealing with a problem with his vocal cords. The singer clarified that he does not need surgery but does need treatment and therapy to recover.
“So-so, more or less. I don’t need surgery, I need treatment and therapy, and that’s what I’m doing,” he concluded.
