Naucalpan 13-year-old killed by stray bullet during neighbor dispute, Digi Mart USA News (Loma Linda, Naucalpan, Estado de México): A 13-year-old boy died after being struck by a stray bullet during a dispute between neighbors in the Loma Linda neighborhood of Naucalpan, State of Mexico. The shooting took place on May 11, 2025, and the boy died on May 20, 2025, nine days later, according to the publisher’s report.
The boy was accompanying his father to buy soap to wash a motorcycle on Orquídea Street when a fight broke out between neighbors in the public street. The father told Telediario that he heard the gunshots and immediately told his son to get down on the ground.
He said that when the boy fell beside him, he lifted him and saw blood. The boy received medical care at a hospital in the region but died from the wound caused by the projectile.
“Unfortunately I was in the wrong place, but a stray bullet is what took my son’s life,” the father said. He added that his son wanted to join the Mexican Army’s special forces once he reached the required age, because he wanted to help his country amid the violence in Mexico.
Since the death, the father has repeatedly gone to the offices of the Attorney General’s Office over a cumulative period of 540 days to follow up on the investigation. According to the report, relatives have not seen the arrest of the alleged perpetrators.
Investigators identify two men as the alleged shooters, named as Edgar ‘N’, alias “El Chupón”, and Marco ‘N’. Arrest warrants have reportedly been in force for more than 365 days, but authorities have not reported the capture of either suspect.
“Sometimes people ask me how I am, and I answer that I am surviving, because it is something that has no name,” the father said. “When you lose a father, a mother, a wife or a husband, there is a name for it.
Losing a son has no name.”
