Stade Malherbe Caen women’s team Coupe de France draw, Digi Mart USA News (Normandy, France): The draw for the first two rounds of the women’s Coupe de France football competition was held on Wednesday, November 4, 2026. Stade Malherbe Caen (Division 3), which beat AS Ifs (Regional 1) 4-0 on Sunday, November 1, will travel to Bréquigny for the federal first round on Sunday, November 22, 2026.
Bréquigny plays in the same division as Caen and currently sits third in the Division 3 standings, one point ahead of Caen, which is fourth. Caen coach Tristan Blanchard said, “It is not a good draw.
Not only will we play away, but Bréquigny is also a solid team. They have real values linked to the Coupe de France.
They are committed, supportive and have good players.”
If Caen qualifies, the team would face the winner of the match between Roubaix and the representative from the Antilles or French Guiana in the second federal round, scheduled for Sunday, December 13, 2026. Unless there is a surprise, Caen would face Roubaix, the promoted Second League side that currently sits in a strong third place.
Two weeks after that second-round match, Caen would meet Bréquigny again in the league. Last season, the women’s team reached the Coupe de France quarterfinals before losing to Paris FC, one of the best teams in France.
The men’s team will travel to Compiègne to face Choisy-au-Bac (Regional 2) on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. as part of the seventh round.
