National Friendly Goalball Tournament in Aguascalientes, Digi Mart USA News (Aguascalientes, Mexico): Men’s and women’s teams from Aguascalientes, Baja California, Chihuahua, Mexico City, Colima, the State of Mexico, Jalisco, Michoacán, Nuevo León, Querétaro, Sinaloa and Sonora took part in the national friendly tournament.
Welcoming the participants, Leo Montañez emphasized that the event promotes inclusion, teamwork, and better spaces and development opportunities for athletes.
Goalball is a Paralympic sport for people with visual impairments. Players use a ball containing bells to locate its position by sound, which is why silence from spectators is essential during matches.
