Talita von Fürstenberg and Rocco Brignone wedding in Mexico, Digi Mart USA News (Careyes, Jalisco, Mexico): Mexico will be the setting for one of the most anticipated society weddings. Talita von Fürstenberg, daughter of Prince Alexander von Fürstenberg and granddaughter of designer Diane von Fürstenberg, will marry Rocco Brignone de Brabant this weekend.

Rocco belongs to the Italian family that owns Careyes, one of the most exclusive tourist destinations on the Mexican coast.

The wedding will bring together two prominent families linked to fashion, business and European aristocracy. Talita belongs to one of the most recognized families of European nobility.

She is the daughter of Prince Alexander von Fürstenberg and Alexandra Miller. On her father’s side, she is the granddaughter of designer Diane von Fürstenberg and Prince Egon von Fürstenberg, a member of the historic German princely house, and she is also connected to the Agnelli dynasty, one of Italy’s most influential business families and historically linked to Fiat.

On her mother’s side, her grandfather is Robert Warren Miller, a billionaire businessman and founder of DFS (Duty Free Shoppers). Her aunts are Pia Getty and Marie-Chantal of Greece, wife of Crown Prince Pavlos of Greece.

Her cousins include Princess Olympia of Greece, with whom she has a close relationship, and members of the Getty family, such as Isabel Getty.

Rocco Brignone de Brabant belongs to the third generation of the Brignone family, of Italian origin and historically linked to the financial sector. He is the son of Filippo Brignone, an Italian businessman and banker, and Karina de Brabant, who also maintains a close friendship with Marie-Chantal of Greece, Talita’s aunt.

His paternal grandfather, Gian Franco Brignone, was a businessman born in Turin who began his career in banking and later built one of Mexico’s most exclusive tourism and residential projects, Costa Careyes, on the southern coast of Jalisco. Gian Franco arrived in the region in 1968 and developed a tourist destination that over the years attracted businesspeople, aristocrats and international figures.

Rocco grew up in that business environment. He met Talita when they were children because her family had a property in Careyes.

Over the years their friendship developed into a romance, and in 2018 they began dating.

Quién was able to confirm that guests at the anticipated wedding will include the von Fürstenbergs and the Brignones, as well as members of the Greek royal family, including Talita’s first cousins, Princes Maria-Olympia and Achileas.

The wedding schedule begins today. The couple will host an icebreaker event that will also be attended by Marie-Chantal and Prince Pavlos of Greece, as well as uncles, cousins and friends of the couple.

Although the name of the designer behind Talita’s wedding dress is not yet known, one possibility is Monique Lhuillier, a Filipino designer specializing in wedding gowns and a friend of Talita. The bride-to-be recently accompanied the designer to her bridal runway show, which sparked speculation that she may choose one of Lhuillier’s designs.

Talita von Fürstenberg’s engagement dinner. In late September 2025, Talita von Fürstenberg shared images of an elegant engagement dinner she organized with Rocco Brignone de Brabant.

The photographs show a classic, romantic decor, with tables arranged with flowers and candles that gave the celebration an intimate feel.

One detail that drew attention was the cake, decorated with red berries and flowers, which the couple cut that evening. “The most special engagement celebration.

My heart is so full,” the model and 26-year-old designer wrote when posting the images.

Talita von Fürstenberg was born in the United States in 1999, the daughter of Alexander von Fürstenberg and Alexandra Miller. On her father’s side, she is the granddaughter of Diane von Fürstenberg and Egon von Fürstenberg, a member of the former German princely family of that name.

Her family history is also linked to the fashion and business industries. Talita belongs to the von Fürstenberg family, associated with the DVF brand, and has two siblings: Prince Tassilo Egon Maximilian von Fürstenberg and her younger half-brother, Prince Leon von Fürstenberg.

On her mother’s side, Alexandra Miller’s father, businessman Robert Warren Miller, is father to three daughters: Marie-Chantal, Princess of Greece and wife of Prince Pavlos; Pia Getty; and Alexandra.

Rocco Brignone, heir to Careyes in Mexico. Rocco Brignone de Brabant belongs to the family behind Careyes, the exclusive resort located on the coast of Jalisco.

He is the son of Filippo Brignone, an Italian banker and owner of the destination, known for its villas, architecture and setting on the Pacific. Rocco is currently a tequila entrepreneur and lives in New York.

The union of Talita and Rocco brings together two family names with a presence in different spheres: international fashion and luxury hospitality in Mexico.

On August 1, 2025, designer Diane von Fürstenberg announced her granddaughter’s engagement. She shared the news with an enthusiastic message: “Talita and Rocco are ENGAGED ❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️ He proposed…

she said yes! Join me in wishing them a happy and joyful life together ❤️❤️❤️ LOVE is LIFE ❤️”.

Careyes: the story of the Mexican paradise that the Brignone family built from the 1960s. The Brignone family’s history in Mexico began in the late 1960s, when Gian Franco Brignone, Rocco’s grandfather, arrived on the coast of Jalisco and discovered a practically inaccessible territory: a stretch of jungle, untouched beaches, cliffs and mangroves where there were then no roads or paths.

Gian Franco’s relationships in Europe were key to Careyes’ development. Over time, the destination attracted members of European nobility, international businesspeople and figures from Mexican high society.

It also became a retreat for Hollywood celebrities and fashion personalities seeking privacy away from cameras.

Names that have visited Careyes include Giorgio Armani, Issey Miyake, Tom Ford, Robert De Niro, Demi Moore, Bruce Willis, Uma Thurman, Rod Stewart, Mick Jagger and Stevie Wonder. However, for Filippo Brignone, son of Gian Franco and father of Rocco, Careyes is much more than a destination frequented by celebrities.

His identity is also tied to nature, architecture, design, culture and the community that has developed around the place.

Part of that vision is reflected in the Fundación Careyes, created to give back to the local community and contribute to its development. Through various programs, the organization works on environmental preservation and promotes education, art, culture and sports among local residents.

Careyes has sought to maintain controlled growth and preserve a balance between tourism, the community and the natural environment. Filippo Brignone summed up that philosophy with a phrase: “A place that grows never dies; a place that grows too fast is a place that dies.”

In addition to its beaches and private villas, Careyes hosts cultural, sports and social gatherings throughout the year that attract visitors from Mexico and other countries.
