Humberto Musacchio death, Digi Mart USA News: Humberto Musacchio, a journalist, deputy editor and former co-founder of the newspaper La Jornada, died at the age of 83 on the night of November 4, 2026, according to the newspaper itself.
Musacchio was known for a career of more than five decades in Mexican journalism, principally in the cultural field. He was also one of the survivors of the student movement of October 2, 1968.
The news of his death was confirmed by Consuelo Sáizar de la Fuente, former president of the National Council for Culture and the Arts (Conaculta), who posted a message on her X account mourning the writer and sending condolences to his family and friends.
