Alain Souchon concert on France 4 with sons Ours and Pierre Souchon, Digi Mart USA News (Paris, France): Alain Souchon revisits his repertoire alongside his two sons, Ours and Pierre Souchon, in a concert event recorded at the end of a triumphant tour. The broadcast is scheduled for Wednesday, November 25, at 9:00 p.m.
on France 4 and france.tv.
Souchon, a major figure in French song, had returned to success several years ago with the album Âme Fifties, which was praised by critics and followed by a tour of more than 100 dates despite the constraints of the health crisis. In 2024, he chose to return to the road in a different way, performing with Ours and Pierre Souchon to revisit a repertoire that his sons grew up with and that has accompanied them all their lives.
That collaboration produced the album Studio Saint Germain, certified gold and one of the successes of 2025. The live version of this three-voice project was released on November 20, shortly before the broadcast of the concert.
On stage, father and sons create a dialogue between generations, each offering their own perspective on songs that have become part of the French musical heritage. More than 110 dates were played to sold-out audiences before the concert was recorded at the Dôme de Paris.
France 4 is presenting the full show, which features sober arrangements and stripped-down interpretations of timeless hits. The performance mixes well-known songs, rarities and musical surprises, with the trio delivering a performance that is both intimate and generous, with family tenderness visible behind each song.
The program runs 129 minutes and was directed by Thierry Teston, with production by JYL Productions. It is available on France 4 and streaming or replay on france.tv.
