H&M Home x Disney Mickey Mouse holiday collection, Digi Mart USA News: H&M Home is launching a festive collection for the children’s room together with Disney, in which Mickey Mouse and his friends have strapped on their skis and are gliding through a snowy winter landscape.
The Mickey Mouse holiday collection includes bedding, cushions and blankets, as well as an advent calendar, a Christmas stocking and Christmas tree decorations. The feeling is nostalgic and warm, with a palette of cream white, dark red, forest green and soft beige.
The illustrations look almost hand-drawn. Mickey goes skiing, Minnie whizzes down the slope and Pluto takes the sledge, while Goofy joins in among the fir trees and lift chairs.
The design is playful without being cluttered.
The standout piece is a red-striped duvet set. The duvet cover has narrow red and white stripes and a cream-white panel with piping, and the pillowcase shows Mickey and Minnie holding their skis and warm mugs beneath the text “Season of joy”.
For a lighter look, there is a cream-white duvet cover set with small winter scenes and a matching fitted sheet in 90×200 cm. The bedding is made of soft cotton percale with a thread count of 200.
A lightly quilted bedspread in light beige, with small embroidered Mickey Mouse heads, can be laid over the bed during the day.
Cushions offer an easy way to refresh a room. The cotton canvas cushion covers come in two variants: one with dark red piping where Mickey is skiing beneath the text “Ski You Later”, and one with dark green piping where Pluto is sledging beneath the text “Oh, What Fun!”.
The backs are striped, so they can be flipped. An elongated embroidered cushion cover in 50×90 cm and a black velour cushion shaped like Mickey Mouse’s head complete the range.
A soft wool-mix blanket features a large, smiling Mickey Mouse face in beige with decorative stitching. It measures 100×150 cm and can be used on the bed, in a reading corner or on the sofa.
The Christmas stocking in cotton canvas has a winter motif with Mickey and Minnie on skis, embroidered with “Happy Holidays!” and a hanging loop. The wall-hung advent calendar has 24 numbered metal rings for small gifts and treats.
It is reusable, but wall fixings are not included.
For the tree, a three-pack of decorations features Mickey and Minnie wearing Santa hats, delivered in a gift box. A cardboard winter garland with skiing characters and small Christmas trees hangs on the wall.
The cardboard suitcase, with a red handle and metal lock, doubles as storage for small treasures.
The collection also includes items for the youngest children: a cot bed duvet cover set with press studs and a matching fitted sheet in the same percale, and a baby blanket in wool mix with a Mickey motif in 80×100 cm. A pack of three sheets of wrapping paper and gift tags featuring Mickey and Minnie completes the range.
The collection can be used to update a single room with a few pieces, such as a cushion cover, the Christmas stocking and the garland. The red-striped and cream-white pieces are designed to be mixed, and natural materials such as wood and wool can balance the playfulness.
