Réparer les vivants on France 4, Digi Mart USA News: France 4 will broadcast the film Réparer les vivants this Friday, November 13, 2026, at 9:00 p.m. Adapted from the novel by Maylis de Kerangal, the film is directed by Katell Quillévéré and follows three lives connected by a single organ.
The story follows the trajectory of a heart, from the tragedy that frees it to the life it can save. After an accident, a young man is declared brain dead, raising the question of organ donation, while at the other end of the chain a sick woman waits for a transplant that will determine her survival.
Between these two poles are the caregivers, notably the transplant coordinator responsible for supporting the families. The narrative covers a few decisive hours, avoiding heavy pathos and focusing on concrete gestures, silences and decisions that affect several lives.
Tahar Rahim plays Thomas Rémige, the coordinating nurse and quiet pivot of the story. He is joined by Emmanuelle Seigner, Anne Dorval, Bouli Lanners, Kool Shen, Monia Chokri and Dominique Blanc, who portray characters each confronting loss and hope in their own way.
Katell Quillévéré adapted the novel, published in 2014 and praised for its language and choral structure. The film was presented at the 2016 Venice Film Festival in the Horizons section, seeking to translate the novel’s expansive momentum to the screen by moving from one point of view to the next.
Réparer les vivants is scheduled for Friday, November 13, 2026, at 9:00 p.m. on France 4.
The film is a choral drama about organ donation, adapted from a notable novel and featuring a leading cast.
