She told her millions of social media followers that her puppy died that Wednesday, without giving many details.
She shared two photographs to announce the news and say her final goodbye. The first shows a Pomeranian dog at Karely Ruiz’s home, with the message “My puppy died,” accompanied by a sad face emoji.
The model made it known that she is not going through the best moment of her life, coming just weeks before she leaves her family to enter the reality show La Mansión VIP.
The second photograph expresses her pain through a tender postcard showing her young daughter Madisson, just over a year old, hugging the small dog. It reflects how the pet accompanied her through different stages of life, including her current role as wife and mother.
The image was captioned “I am very sad.”
So far, Karely Ruiz has not provided further updates on her emotional state following the loss of her puppy, nor has she disclosed the cause of death.
In a separate interview with Sale El Sol, Karely Ruiz described how she is preparing for the premiere of La Mansión VIP, a reality show in which she will participate and which she is already being promoted as one of the favorites of this second season. She said the project will “add to her,” although during her time in the program her husband, John Echeverry, will take care of their daughter.
“Right now she has already started school, so he is going to be a responsible father,” she said, adding that there is no better figure than her father to look after her. Karely said her goal in the reality show is to win and for people to know her as she truly is.
“I feel that on social media they don’t really know who Karely Ruiz is, so they will see me even when I am sleeping, cooking, doing everything,” she said. She also admitted to feeling fear, noting that people often criticize others harshly, but expressed hope that many viewers will like her.
Regarding possible controversies, differences or confrontations with other participants of La Mansión VIP, the model said she plans to be direct, say things to people’s faces and resolve problems that arise, adding that she does not consider herself a problematic person.
