Benjamin Tchiepi Meilleur apprenti de France Landes Aide sociale à l'enfance: Benjamin Tchiepi, Meilleur apprenti de France in joinery, credits the Landes Aide sociale à l'enfance with giving him stability after arriving alone from Cameroon in 2023 and supporting his path to independence.

Benjamin Tchiepi, Meilleur apprenti de France, Digi Mart USA News (Landes, France): The Landes Aide sociale à l’enfance (ASE) held its first graduation ceremony on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, where it honored Benjamin Tchiepi, who excelled in woodworking.

When Benjamin Tchiepi arrived in France from Cameroon in 2023, he went straight to a police station. Because he was a minor and alone, authorities contacted the Aide sociale à l’enfance, said Tchiepi, now 19.

He took time to find the right words to describe how he felt. “France changed my life.

It welcomed me and gave me everything. I believe the ASE saves lives, and I am very grateful.

Without them, I would surely be on the street with all the risks that entails.”

Because he had a foundation in French, Tchiepi was quickly enrolled at the Mission locale and secured an internship at the company La Landaise de menuiserie. “After two years, I obtained my diploma.

This year, I won the departmental gold medal and then the regional gold medal for Meilleur apprenti de France in the woodworking track.”

Since then, Tchiepi has received a job offer, obtained his driver’s license, and bought a car. “The ASE is currently helping me find an apartment so that I can become fully independent.”
