Coupe de France féminine draw for FBBP 01 and ES Val de Saône, Digi Mart USA News (Ain, France): The two teams from Ain still in the competition will not face Seconde Ligue clubs in the next round of the Coupe de France féminine, which takes place the weekend of November 21 and 22. The draw for the first and second federal rounds was held Wednesday at the headquarters of the French Football Federation.
Although the Ain women did not receive a high-profile fixture, they can hope to extend their run in the competition. After winning 3-2 at Annecy-le-Vieux last Saturday, the FBBP 01 women will again have the advantage of playing at home.
They will host FC Montceau Bourgogne, which, like them, plays in Régional 1.
If they qualify, they will face the winner of the match between US Azzurri Mulhouse (R1) and AAS Sarcelles (D3).
ES Val de Saône, the second club from Ain to earn a historic qualification for its club last weekend, winning 4-0 at Lagnieu in the fourth round of the competition, will again travel away. The women will visit neighboring Sud Lyonnais Football 2013, which plays two divisions above them in Régional 2.
If they pass this round, they will play the winners of the match between ES Cernex (R2) and Puy-en-Velay FC (D3).
