Dropp Social Sauna Paris largest outdoor sauna in France, Digi Mart USA News (Paris, France): Having only recently opened in early September, this Parisian venue is preparing to warm up visitors, or chill them, as winter approaches. Dropp Social Sauna offers what it describes as a purely Norwegian experience in the heart of the 12th arrondissement, with what is presented as the largest sauna in France.
The venue spans 400 square meters of saunas, cold baths and relaxation areas. It is directly inspired by Oslo, where co-founder Thomas lived for several years, and places the sauna at the center of the Parisian experience.
Located on boulevard Poniatowski, close to Bercy, the new wellness space includes three saunas with a wood-lined look reminiscent of Norway, along with two large ice-cold baths for contrast therapy, the practice of alternating between hot and cold. Outdoor areas with deck chairs and a café are also available for visitors to ease back into their rhythm between sessions.
Dropp also positions itself as a social club where wellness becomes a collective experience. Silence and laughter coexist, and connections form naturally during sessions.
A walk-in entry costs 20 euros for 1 hour 30 minutes on site, with full access to all facilities without time constraints.
For enthusiasts and curious newcomers alike, Dropp offers more advanced programming. Guided rituals, known as Aufguss, feature a sauna master leading the group through several rounds in the large sauna, alternated with plunges into the cold bath.
The format is presented as a good introduction to contrast therapy with guidance.
Dropp also offers yoga and sauna sessions. Each combines 45 minutes of yoga and breathwork with 45 minutes of sauna and cold bath, designed to extend relaxation and maximize the benefits.
