Innoval free silage maize analysis Brittany, Digi Mart USA News (Brittany, France): Faced with variable 2026 maize harvests and tight feed stocks on some farms, Innoval is offering free “Instants Nutrition” sessions in five western French departments. The meetings allow livestock farmers to have their silage analyzed at no cost and receive advice from a nutrition expert.
Innoval teams carry out the analyses on site using AgriNIR analyzers. Farmers leave immediately with their results, along with a personalized comment to help them assess the feed value of their forage and adjust their rations.
To take part, farmers need to collect a sample of maize silage harvested at least four weeks earlier and place it in a vacuum-sealed bag. Samples can be brought directly to a session or handed to a usual Innoval contact the day before the meeting scheduled in their area.
For the most atypical maize samples, where the AgriNIR analysis does not produce a sufficiently reliable result, a laboratory chemical analysis may be offered.
Several sessions are scheduled in Brittany. In Finistère, meetings take place on November 3 from 1:30 p.m.
to 4 p.m. at the Innoval office in Saint-Renan; on November 5 from 10:30 a.m.
to 12:30 p.m. at the Sofar site in Pleyben; and on November 10 from 11 a.m.
to 4 p.m. at the Gaec de Kerdarbar in Kersaint-Plabennec.
In Ille-et-Vilaine, a session is held on November 4 from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.
at the Innoval office in Montfort-sur-Meu. In Côtes-d’Armor, sessions take place on November 6 from 1:30 p.m.
to 5 p.m. at the Innoval office in Noyal, and on November 13 from 1:30 p.m.
to 5 p.m. at the Innoval office in Merdignac.
Additional sessions are planned for November 17 in Noyal and December 2 in Merdignac, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Sample drop-offs will also be possible on the day itself, from 9 a.m. to noon, at the Innoval office in Quévert for the first session and in Corlay for the second.
Participation is open to all livestock farmers, and no prior registration is required.
