Le Slip Français joins Origine France Garantie certification, Digi Mart USA News: Le Slip Français has announced that it is joining Origine France Garantie (OFG), a certification described as “the most recognized in France by citizens.” The certificate is scheduled to be presented on Thursday, November 12, 2026, at the opening of the Salon du Made in France, in the presence of Roland Lescure, Minister of Economy, Finance and Industrial, Energy and Digital Sovereignty.

On the OFG side, Gilles Attaf, president of the association, is due to present the certification to Léa Marie and Guillaume Gibault, executives of Le Slip Français, at 11:30 a.m. on the OFG Télé set, as part of MIF Expo at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, Hall 7.2, an event scheduled for November 12 to 15, 2026.

Origine France Garantie states that its certification guarantees two points: the product must acquire its essential characteristics in France, and at least 50% of its unit cost price must be carried out on national territory. The association says the process relies on audits conducted by an independent third-party body.

According to the information provided, more than 700 companies and 2,700 product ranges currently hold this certification. OFG adds that “82% of French people say they are ready to pay more for a made-in-France product.”

Le Slip Français, listed since July 14, 2026, and reporting 8,000 individual shareholders, states that it chose to manufacture in France “the fabric, the dyeing, the tailoring” and to produce “5,000 pieces per day,” presenting itself as the “1st underwear manufacturer in France.”

The company says it designs, produces and distributes its entire collections in France, within its own production units, the Bonne Nouvelle manufacturing facility in Aubervilliers, Fier(T) and La Belle Paire, as well as through a network of partner workshops located across the country. Le Slip Français also states that it is a mission-driven company within the meaning of the PACTE law and a certified B Corp.

In the press release, Gilles Attaf said: “Seeing Le Slip Français, a major player in the French textile revival, join our certification is a strong signal. (…) With Origine France Garantie, it reinforces this commitment through independent proof.”

Guillaume Gibault, president of Le Slip Français, stated: “We are at a pivotal moment. The difficult economic context is also an opportunity to change scale.

(…) Made in France is not a defensive choice by default; it is quite the opposite.”

Léa Marie, executive director of Le Slip Français, said: “After fifteen years of fighting against the current, we have proven that Made in France is possible and profitable. (…) The answer is to offer everyone who wants to bring fresh energy back to their collections agile and competitive French production.”
