Luis Humberto Navejas Michael Jordan admiration Enjambre Zócalo concert, Digi Mart USA News (Mexico City): Luis Humberto Navejas, vocalist of the Mexican band Enjambre, has admitted he has never been a big sports fan, but he recently revealed that there is a historic basketball figure he admires.
Navejas said Michael Jordan is one of his references in the sports world. “I watched the documentary The Last Dance and thought that, even if you have never seen a basketball game, you end up inspired.
His life is an example, no matter what you dedicate yourself to.”
In the same April interview with Diario Sport, Navejas compared Enjambre to Mexico’s national team at the 1994 World Cup. “That block formed by Luis García, Jorge Campos, Luis Hernández and ‘Piojo’ Herrera gave us a very good era.
We have been a team that has worked without yet achieving something big, but there is recognition for our music.”
Enjambre will play a free concert this Sunday, November 8, at the Zócalo in Mexico City as part of the Vitae Fest, marking its return to the Plaza de la Constitución after nearly 10 years. The band earlier performed two shows at Estadio GNP Seguros, filling the venue at the Ciudad Deportiva Magdalena Mixhuca on August 29 and 30.
The concert is scheduled to begin at 6:40 p.m. Central Time, following performances by Venezuelan artists Mau and Ricky, and will last approximately 90 minutes.
