Romain Ntamack shoulder injury and recovery timeline, Digi Mart USA News (Lyon, France): Romain Ntamack left Saturday evening’s match against Fiji in Lyon before halftime, grimacing and holding his shoulder. Head coach Fabien Galthié suspected a dislocation, and L’Equipe confirmed the diagnosis on Sunday evening.

The injury, a dislocation of the left shoulder, is expected to keep the 27-year-old away from the field for at least two months. He will therefore miss the Nations Championship, where France face South Africa on Friday, November 13, and may not return before the end of the calendar year.

Ntamack could, however, be available for the Six Nations Championship, which France begin on February 6 against Wales. The injury comes amid a series of setbacks that have repeatedly disrupted his career with the national team in recent years.
