US tech stocks recovery on Wall Street after worst day in 19 months, Digi Mart USA News: Technology stocks staged a sharp recovery on Friday after Thursday’s brutal sell-off wiped trillions of dollars off global equity valuations. With two hours to go before Wall Street closed, the rebound was continuing, with the Nasdaq Composite index, which had sunk into correction territory the previous day, up 1.3%.

Aerospace manufacturer and launch service provider Rocket Lab was the top riser, up 12.5%, followed by Airbnb (+11.7%), AppLovin (+10%), Advanced Micro Devices (+9.3%) and Intel (+8.9%). All major AI-related stocks, including Nvidia, AMD, Broadcom and CoreWeave, bounced back.

Fawad Razaqzada, market analyst at Stonex Trading and FOREX.com, cautioned that the recovery may not hold. Today’s bounce has carried the Nasdaq 100 back into former support, but the worries behind the rout, from AI regulation to the sheer scale of tech spending, remain unresolved.
