NASCAR México Series 2026 championship, Digi Mart USA News (Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, Mexico City): Four points separate Xavi Razo and Rubén García Jr. before the race that will decide the 2026 NASCAR México Series championship.

The Gran Final 150 will be run on Sunday, November 8 at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez.

Razo will enter as the leader of The Chase after eleven competitions. García holds second place and keeps the chance to win his sixth personal championship, a figure that would further cement his status as the most successful driver in the modern history of the series.

The format introduced this season allowed the top ten drivers after the eighth date to advance to The Chase. The points accumulated during that phase will determine the champion, so the outcome does not depend on a separate classification among finalists but on the total gathered over the final races.

García has won two races during 2026 and has 29 victories in his career within NASCAR México. The driver of the number 88 car has already won five championships and will try to give his organization its eighth title since the category was homologated in 2007.

Razo will face pressure from the opposite position. His advantage allows him to start as the driver to beat, but a four-point gap can disappear through on-track positions, bonus points or any incident.

Execution of pit stops and restarts will be decisive.

The race will bring together more than twenty cars, including competitors who do not directly contest the championship but can still influence its development. Traffic, slower cars and running alongside Challenge participants will force contenders to manage risk over 150 laps.

The track chosen is the 1.609-kilometer oval, and the total distance will be roughly 241 kilometers, requiring a setup different from the one recently used on the Yucatán circuit. Teams must combine straightaway speed, stability through the corners and tire care.

Qualifying will take place Saturday behind closed doors. On Sunday, the main race will start at 14:50, after the Trucks México Series final.

The day will also include the decisive races of TC2000, Copa 1.8 and Súper Turismos Light.

Although Razo and García hold the tightest battle, NASCAR México noted that drivers placed third through fifth can still get involved in the fight. No result should be considered settled before the checkered flag: a minimal difference combined with a large field keeps the championship open.
