La France a un incroyable talent Eric Antoine prank, Digi Mart USA News (France): According to cg-tv.com, Eric Antoine, Marianne James, Hélène Ségara and Sugar Sammy returned to M6 on Wednesday, November 4, for a new evening of auditions for La France a un incroyable talent. Last season, Ségara, James and Sammy had fallen for a fake audition staged by Antoine.
During the episode, speed painter Noah Miguel, 20, presented himself as a sixth-generation painter from a family of artists. He said he would prove he could paint a portrait in two minutes, and chose to paint all four judges at once.
The judges buzzed him almost unanimously because the canvases were turned away from them, so they could not verify that they were blank at the start. The jury let him finish, and when the paintings were revealed, Antoine’s portrait was far from accurate, drawing laughs from the panel and audience.
Sugar Sammy joked that it looked more like Ségara than Antoine, and Antoine questioned how long Noah had been running the “scam.”
The production stepped in to defend the candidate, saying there had been no trickery on his part. When the vote came, James and Sammy said yes, followed by Ségara, who said yes if the canvases were truly blank.
Antoine voted no, saying he did not believe it, though three yes votes were enough for Noah to advance.
The judges then revealed the prank: a video showed the three other judges backstage with Noah, who had been planning revenge for Antoine’s previous-season stunt, in which he had made them believe he had golden-buzzed a fake sound therapist who supposedly cured his back pain with screams. That therapist was in fact an actor.
