vivo V80 Lite launch in Mexico, Digi Mart USA News: vivo is bringing its first smartphone with a 10,000 mAh battery to Mexico, a mid-range device focused on long battery life at an accessible price without sacrificing other key segment features.

The vivo V80 Lite has an official list price in Mexico of 13,999 pesos and is already on sale through the vivo shop online store and the Telcel catalog. As a launch offer, both stores have a discount that brings the final price down to 11,999 pesos.

The phone is available in black and pink.

According to the publisher, the vivo V80 Lite is one of the few smartphones with a 10,000 mAh battery in Mexico, joining the realme P4 Power in this exclusive group. Xiaomi is closely following with its new Redmi Note 17 Pro Max.

The company says the battery is enough for a full day of intense activity, about 12 hours, while still leaving 33% of charge, or for watching TikTok and series for up to 30 hours.

The phone can also charge other devices by cable thanks to its reverse charging feature. All of these figures come from the company’s own tests.

vivo also highlights that the V80 Lite holds the Guinness World Record for the longest live stream, at 32 hours and 37 minutes continuously. The battery is paired with 44W wired charging, and vivo promises battery lifespan of up to seven years.

The rest of the specifications reflect the mid-range focus of the V80 Lite. It has a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Dimensity 7300e processor, 6 GB of RAM (virtually expandable up to 12 GB), 256 GB of internal storage, and OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, with three major operating system updates promised.

Its cameras include a 50-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 32-megapixel front camera. The phone integrates AI photography features, such as AI eraser for people and objects.

It is resistant to drops of up to three meters with military certification, and to dust and water with IP68 and IP69 certifications. It also has an in-screen fingerprint sensor, Bluetooth 5.4, stereo speakers, compatibility with Mac and iPhone, and one-touch file and photo sharing.

The vivo V80 Lite arrives only a few months after the vivo V70 and V70 FE, presented earlier this year as a way to expand the company’s device lineup, each with different features aimed at different user needs. The V80 Lite includes a Google One subscription with 100 GB of free cloud storage for several months.
