Coupe de France women’s first federal round draw Sochaux Saint-Vit, Digi Mart USA News: FC Sochaux-Montbéliard and US Saint-Vit will be among the 80 clubs qualified for the first federal round of the women’s Coupe de France, according to the French regional daily L’Est Républicain.
The matches will take place on the weekend of November 22, which will also mark the entry of Seconde Ligue teams into the competition. Placed in Group B alongside fourteen other teams, the Franc-Comtoise clubs could have drawn Metz or Thonon Évian.
Instead, FCSM will face ESTAC Troyes (Division 3), while Saint-Vit will play Thionville Lusitanos (Regional 2 level).
Should both home teams advance, Sochaux would face a major challenge in Metz or Thonon Évian. Saint-Vit, meanwhile, would encounter opponents from lower divisions, a draw that could allow the club to dream of going further in the competition.
