Ayvin, Bordeaux singer-songwriter auditions for La France a un incroyable talent, Digi Mart USA News (Bordeaux, France): Ayvin, an singer-songwriter and performer from Bordeaux, has been selected to appear on the set of the French television show La France a un incroyable talent. He takes part in the fifth night of auditions, broadcast Wednesday, November 4 at 9:10 p.m.
on M6.
Ayvin said he has spent several years trying to make himself heard through his songs. “I told myself, ‘finally!'” he said with relief.
A performer in Paris for ten years, Ayvin began singing at age six and took his first steps on the Bordeaux stage. “I was very introverted and very shy, so singing was my therapy,” he recalled.
Ayvin is his stage name, which he now uses in everyday life.
Freed from childhood wounds, he has made his personal history the subject of his songs. One of them, “Monstre,” will be performed live on stage and in public for the first time.
“It is a song about the difficulty of helping a parent out of addiction, because I grew up with an alcoholic father myself,” he explained. “If my songs can resonate with or help other people, the mission is accomplished.”
Signed to a label for nearly two years, Ayvin sees the audition as a real opportunity to gain recognition. “If I want to live from my music, people need to be able to hear and see me, so this is a chance to take part in this program,” he said, adding that he was delighted to exchange ideas with many artists from different backgrounds.
The show has already been recorded, and Ayvin recalled the stage with enthusiasm. “I was very moved by some of the jury’s reactions, such as those of Marianne James, with whom I had an inexplicable connection.” If he is selected after the jury’s deliberations, he may advance to the quarterfinals.
The eventual winner will receive 100,000 euros.
