Street paving project in La Rinconada Agustín Olachea, La Paz, Baja California Sur, Digi Mart USA News (La Paz, Baja California Sur): With a state investment of 4.9 million pesos, the state government, through the Secretariat of Urban Planning, Infrastructure, Mobility, Environment and Natural Resources (Sepuimm), will begin paving a section of Calle México in the La Rinconada Agustín Olachea Avilés neighborhood with hydraulic concrete on Wednesday, November 4.
The work is part of the Road Care Program and will run between Monterrey and Campeche streets. The comprehensive intervention includes renewing potable water and sanitary drainage networks to prevent leaks and improve service to homes. Sidewalks and curbs will also be built to improve pedestrian safety, and solar-powered public lighting will be installed.
Stormwater protection works, landscaping, urban furniture and road signage will also be added. Sepuimm urged residents and motorists in the area to take precautions, respect preventive signage and use alternate routes while work is underway.
De la Cruz Domínguez stated that the current state administration remains committed to meeting the needs of Baja California Sur families through projects that improve urban infrastructure and provide safer, more functional and more dignified roads.
