Célia Bernard, Sarthe dancer in La France a un Incroyable Talent, Digi Mart USA News (Sarthe, France): Dancers Célia Bernard and Mathis Blin have taken part in the 21st season of the French television program La France a un Incroyable Talent, and their appearance will be broadcast on M6 on Wednesday, November 4, 2026.
Over the summer season, the pair performed a dance number at the Papéa amusement park in Yvré-l’Évêque (Sarthe). Bernard, a resident of Soulitré, has directed the staging of the show for five years.
Bernard, who has worked as a performer for twenty-four years, said the television appearance will be her final stage. “La France a un Incroyable Talent will be my last stage,” she said.
“I have been thinking about it for several years, but I needed something to help me. I find that ending there puts a nice full stop on it.”
Bernard said she did not originally imagine taking part in the show. “It was Mathis’s dream.” She met the 26-year-old dancer during an audition for the Papéa season.
“He came in with that artistic curiosity,” she said.
The director kept Blin for the show, and he impressed audiences with his movement and rhythm. Privately, he told Bernard that he dreamed of appearing on M6’s program.
“I answered him directly: ‘If you want, let’s try the adventure,'” she said.
Bernard’s path to the stage was unusual. Last year, she followed the journey of Herwan Legaillard behind the scenes through to the final, and she helped stage his act on set.
Legaillard has since performed on America’s Got Talent this year. “He is the only person in the world who can do what he does.
He is a star, and I am proud of his journey,” she said.
Bernard said she and Blin submitted a video of their Papéa work in January to be accepted for auditions, and the show was filmed in July. Their routine, created specifically for the program, lasts about 2 minutes 30 seconds and combines Bernard’s aerial and acrobatic work with Blin’s hip-hop dance style.
Bernard described the style as difficult to explain in words. “There is also magic in it…
but it is complicated to describe in words what we do,” she said. She added that it is a challenge to present a style that is still being explored.
Bernard spoke warmly about Blin. “Something happened with Mathis.
It is the first time I have had a partner with whom I have no personal friendship or romantic relationship. It is a true professional friendship, and a very intense relationship.
I am thrilled that he is my last partner.”
Bernard said the experience was highly stressful before the performance. She noted that she has years of experience, including hundreds of shows on cruise ships, but that television is different because it leaves a lasting record.
“It was ultra-stressful,” she said. The judging panel consists of Éric Antoine, Hélène Ségara, Marianne James and Sugar Sammy.
Bernard said the production team behind the scenes was very supportive.
The duo must receive at least three yes votes from the judges to advance to the deliberation stage before the quarterfinals. Viewers can follow the broadcast on M6 on Wednesday, November 4 at 9:10 p.m.
