Eder Militao, USA News (Madrid, Spain): Real Madrid defender Eder Militao had his home burgled on October 25 during the Clasico match against FC Barcelona, according to reports from the newspaper El Mundo. Two thieves managed to make off with more than 350,000 euros worth of jewelry and watches while the player was away at the Camp Nou with his teammates.
The incident is notable because multiple family members were present inside the residence at the time of the break-in. They were reportedly watching the match on the ground floor while the intruders searched the upstairs rooms, leaving everyone unaware that a crime was taking place. Authorities indicate the two individuals entered through an open third-floor window between 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
According to reports, the home alarm was not activated during the break-in. The burglars also disabled security cameras during the assault to avoid clear identification. Militao has since hired a service to report and track down the stolen items—some of which carry significant sentimental value—including searching black-market channels.
Stolen Valuations and Police Discovery
The stolen items include a Rolex watch estimated at 53,000 euros, a Richard Mille watch valued at 170,000 euros, three Chanel bags worth 15,000 euros, and several Cartier pieces. The total estimated loss exceeds 350,000 euros.
At approximately 9:50 p.m., police officers and residential security guards arrived at Militao’s home to inquire whether anyone had spotted two men carrying suitcases. The family answered in the negative. Upon inspecting the property, law enforcement officers discovered the player’s bedroom completely ransacked and a surveillance camera torn down.
